Walk for Rice – A Thank You
Thank you! The City University of Seattle (CityU) Walk for Rice Team would like to thank our colleagues and community members. The CityU Walk for Rice Team is pleased to announce we surpassed our fundraising goal of $4,000. This year, we raised $4,030.29 that will go towards the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) Food Bank.
The Team would like to thank its bakers who cooked delicious food for our bake sale; CityU staff, faculty, and community members for your donated items for the silent auction; and lastly to City University of Seattle for its commitment to this great cause.
On Saturday, June 25th, a group of CityU faculty and staff and their family members came together at Seward Park for the actual walk. The Team was entertained with live performances by the International Lion Dance and Martial Arts Team, The Puget Sound Academy of Karate, and the Seattle Chinese Community Girls Drill Team.
If you are interested in participating in the CityU Walk for Rice Team organizing committee for 2017, please contact Ellen Carruth.
Again, the CityU Walk for Rice Team cannot thank you for your generous support. THANK YOU!
