Tools in the Classroom, Technology Success Stories
The CityU Library and Learning Resource Center just published the first in a series of practice vignettes highlighting faculty who are engaging students with technology. Academic Technology Support Assistant Ceradwen Bacon interviewed Business Accounting instructor Mark Hoover about how he uses Tegrity Lecture Capture to review important concepts. Tegrity is one of the new tools available to all CityU faculty.
You can read about Mark’s experience on SlideShare, but there are more resources and a sample of Mark’s Tegrity video to go with it in the CityU Faculty Learning Community (FLC). The CityU FLC is a social learning network where CityU teaching faculty build knowledge and share expertise. Although the FLC is a third party site that requires you to create an account, only CityU emails are approved for membership. All who teach for CityU are encouraged to join.
