M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction
Become an Inspirational Educator
The Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction at City University of Seattle was designed to provide educators with current, research-based methodologies and practices that will allow you to increase student learning, improve classroom practice, and provide the knowledge and skills you need to be a leader in your field.
Any bachelor’s degree and active teaching certificate will qualify you to apply to CityU’s MEd in Curriculum and Instruction. Program completion typically takes aroundseven quarters, but you can finish in as few as five quarters or up to four years.
CityU’s MEd in Curriculum and Instruction is ranked by GradReports.com among the Top 10 in the country.
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program teaches best practices for personal learning and evaluation, multicultural perspectives, globalized learning, family and community engagement, and how to best differentiate instruction for all students. You’ll demonstrate mastery of specific learning outcomes (often using your own classroom as a basis for learning) and receive credit toward your degree. As you complete each assignment/project, an outcomes evaluator will use detailed rubrics to review your artifacts and provide feedback.
