Advance Your Human Services Training
The School of Arts and Sciences at City University of Seattle offers continuing education programs that target the needs of current students, alumni, internship site supervisors, professional counselors, and other helping professionals in the greater Seattle area.
The Continuing Education for Helping Professionals program at CityU complement the graduate and undergraduate degree programs we offer in the human services professions. The programs at City University are provided by experts in the field, in a state-of-the-art learning environment.
These courses are delivered on-site.
The School of Arts and Sciences is authorized to provide continuing education hours from the following organizations:
National Board of Certified Counselors: Approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6826. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. City University of Seattle School of Arts and Sciences is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Washington Mental Health Counselors Association: Trainings approved for Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers. WMHCA Provider #1501.
- Association for Addiction Professionals, NAADAC: Trainings approved (#146039) for licensed Chemical Dependency Professionals and CDP-Ts.
Our workshops may also count towards clock hours for Washington state educators.
