New at CityU Library: Teachers TV videos

The CityU Library’s Education in Video database now includes Teachers TV, the in-classroom video professional development series created by the UK Department of Education. The Education in Video database now contains 3,322 titles and 932 hours of content.

UK-based Teachers TV has been producing instructional videos showing actual classroom footage since 2008. The content is used by educators worldwide. The new content covers every possible subject area from math, science, and literature, to social issues, health education, and teaching technology.

Many of the educational topics covered by Teachers TV videos are also high priorities in U.S. school systems, including bullying, improving reading skills in young boys, innovative ways to teach science concepts to middle-schoolers, and more.
