To teach at CityU, you need to have an earned master’s or doctoral (preferred) degree from an accredited institution, as well as extensive experience in your field of expertise. Teaching experience at a graduate level is highly desired, however we have the resources to help new instructors develop their skills. Compensation for Teaching Faculty is based on the number of course credits. CityU courses vary from 3 and 5 credits (using a U.S. quarter credit model), with each credit equaling 10 hours of instruction (i.e., primarily classroom with some online).
