Working at CityU

Interview Exchange

If you are interested in teaching for City University of Seattle, but do not see an open teaching position which fits your specialty area, please feel free to submit your resume for review via email to employment@cityu.edu.

Please indicate your area of interest in the subject line of the email.  We are accepting emailed resumes for the following specialty areas:

  • Business Management and Administration
  • Information Technology
  • Project Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Accounting

To teach at CityU, you need to have an earned master’s or doctoral (preferred) degree from an accredited institution, as well as extensive experience in your field of expertise. Teaching experience at a graduate level is highly desired, however we have the resources to help new instructors develop their skills. Compensation for Teaching Faculty is based on the number of course credits. CityU courses vary from 3 and 5 credits (using a U.S. quarter credit model), with each credit equaling 10 hours of instruction (i.e., primarily classroom with some online).

Please be advised that submitting your resume via email is simply a notice of interest, and is not an official application for any position. If your skills are determined to be a fit, a hiring manager will contact you to encourage you to formally apply when a vacancy opens in your specialty area.
