Reflecting on Another Great Year at CityU

RichardCarter_061_CROP_WEB2Dear CityU Community,

As 2014 draws to a close, I want to wish you and yours a Happy New Year. This has been an extraordinary year for City University of Seattle. We made a difference in thousands of lives; graduated our fifty-thousandth alumni member; received the largest gift in CityU’s history; launched programs in key growth areas like supply chain management and entrepreneurship; continued to grow connections in the higher education and business communities, which emboldened our mission of serving anyone with a desire to learn; and graduated our first two doctoral students. Beyond our success here, we strengthened our connections abroad by signing new agreements in China, the Czech Republic and Mexico, and have continued to serve students all over the world at our 28 locations. All of this progress could not be possible without our committed faculty and staff. We are all dedicated to student service, CityU’s mission and overall excellence.

We are proud to see that over 90 percent of our alumni and students surveyed this year believe that they developed a professional competency at CityU, and that 95 percent of students surveyed believe that their education with us will result in a return on their investment. We look forward to serving you in this new year and will continue to look for new ways to serve students and the global community. Happy New Year to you all!

Warmest wishes,

President Richard Carter
