An Inspiring Afternoon at Adobe Seattle
Wonderful opportunities happen when our CityU Alumni choose to give back! One of our 2021...
READ MOREHello! My name is Cindy Marronquin. I’m a student at Universidad Autonóma de Nuevo Leon’s FACPYA — UANL’s business school in Monterrey, Mexico. My UANL major is International Business and I’m in my sixth semester.
I decided to enroll in the Double Degree program, made possible through a partnership between UANL and City University of Seattle, because I know I will benefit from earning two degrees rather than just one! Also, I am one of nine people within the first generation of the program. We are all really proud of this fact.
Last fall quarter, I took Critical Thinking (BC 301) with Professor Craig Thorne. I enjoyed the class a lot and it made me realize that I need to slow down when I work. I tend to do a lot of things and sometimes forget how important it is to analyze before I move forward with something. This quarter I’m taking two courses with CityU of Seattle and I believe my prior classes at FACPYA provided me with the foundation I will need to succeed academically with my CityU material.

You may also contact Horacio Carreon, CityU’s double degree program coordinator at UANL at Horacio.Carreon@cityu.edu. His office is located in FACPYA’s Intercambio Academico Office.
Lastly, to my peers that are already studying the Double Degree program, good luck! I really hope that we can meet to exchange stories about your teachers and experiences at CityU when we all visit Seattle later this year.
