Doctoral Associate Professor Paul L. Gerhardt at Large!

Dr. Paul Gerhart

 Dr. Paul L. Gerhardt, associate professor in CityU’s Division of Doctoral Studies, was invited to be the keynote speaker at two major events in Washington State .

First, on June 14, Dr. Gerhardt addressed the graduating class of 2014 at The Evergreen State College Tacoma Campus. He talked about his experiences since graduating from college and how each person can create significant positive change in this world with the backing of a good education, a positive attitude, and the right kind of support.

On the June 25, Dr. Gerhardt spoke to military leaders of all levels at the JBLM auditorium at Madigan Hospital in honor of the anniversary of the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Dr. Gerhardt addressed major issues discussed in his book, Diversity At Work (2007). He taught attendees to consider their biases, perceptions and actions, as well as give them tools to empower people be their very best.

Paul Gerhardt, PhD is known nationally for doing diversity and leadership training for numerous non-profit organizations and corporations. He has worked with thousands of leaders in highly interactive and memorable training sessions. He also teaches a wide variety of graduate classes at City University of Seattle in leadership, diversity, and multiculturalism. His background as an organizational development consultant and professor continues to grow.
