Doctoral Program Decreases Tuition Cost and Time-to-Completion
In an effort to increase affordability and access to higher education, City University of Seattle is pleased to announce that its Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership will now cost less and take less time to complete. Here is how:
- Up to 12 graduate credits can be applied toward equivalent concentration courses, saving students up to $7,584 and reducing their time-to-completion.
- A “Specialized Study” concentration is now available, allowing students to build on any prior graduate work, take courses that pertain to their fields of interest, and possibly decrease their time-to-completion.
- The cost structure of comprehensive exams and dissertation courses will now be flat, costing students $1,000/course instead of $1,896/course, saving students up to $7,168.
Currently, this program costs $56,880. Now, when students transfer 12 quarter credits into the program and combine this savings with the flat rate for dissertation courses and exams, they only pay $42,128 – $14,752 less than what they currently pay!
For more information on these changes, please contact the Director of the Division of Doctoral Studies, Dr. Kelly Flores. For information about admissions into this program please contact Bob Martin, Senior Director of Advising. To take a look at this program, please visit the website here.
Special Note: This new structure applies to both current and future students.
