CityU in Mexico

In 2005 City University of Seattle started offering its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada, Baja California. Today, CityU offers degrees and certificates in business, technology, project management and education throughout Mexico. CityU’s Doctor of Education in Leadership is currently approved by PRODEP.

CityU is a Proyecta 100K approved institution.

Teaching Locations

Baja California

Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada: CityU has three teaching locations in the northwest Mexican state Baja California covering its three biggest cities, its capitol Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada. CityU offers its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology, and undergraduate and graduate Certificate in Project Management in Baja California at CETYS University campuses. Nuevo León

Monterrey: In the most industrialized city in Latin America, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, houses CityU’s most northeastern teaching location in Mexico.  In 2010, CityU offered its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and today, CityU also offers its Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and Master of Business Administration. Please visit the undergraduate program or graduate program website for more information.

Puebla

Puebla: In one of Mexico’s most colonial cities, the City of Puebla, is CityU’s most southern teaching location. Located 90 miles southeast of Mexico City, Puebla is known for its Battle of Puebla (in which Mexico defeated the French, known as Cinco de Mayo in the U.S.). In Puebla, CityU offers its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Bachelor of Arts in Education. San Luis Potosí

San Luis Potosí: In the heart of Mexico, San Luis Potosí is 200 miles north of Mexico City and is another CityU teaching location. San Luis Potosí is strategically located between Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City, Mexico’s three biggest cities. In San Luis Potosí, CityU offers its Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, and Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing. The latter is only offered fully online.

Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior Universidad

In 2005, CityU and Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS) signed an agreement that allows CETYS students to graduate with two degrees, one from Mexico and one from the U.S. Today, CityU offers its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology, and undergraduate and graduate certificates in project management at three CETYS locations throughout Baja California, in Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada. Since it began, the inter-institutional relationship has grown steadily. For more information, visit the program website here.

CETYS was founded in 1961 and is a nonprofit institution that strongly promotes internationalization. CETYS University is fully accredited in Mexico and is also accredited by WASC in the U.S.

Universidad Autónoma De Nuevo León

In 2010, CityU began offering its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL), and today the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and Master of Business Administration are also offered. UANL is located in the City of Monterrey and was founded in 1933. Today it’s the third largest public university in Mexico with a student population of 132,000. UANL offers more than 221 education programs.

UANL’s Facultad de Contaduria Publica y Administracion (School of Business) and Facultad de Psicologia (School of Psychology) are CityU partner schools.

Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí

CityU offers its Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, and Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), in San Luis Potosí.

The public university, founded in 1859, has three urban campuses throughout San Luis Potosí and has been ranked among the top five public universities in Mexico by the Mexican Ministry of Education. It serves 26,000 students who live in central states north of Mexico City.

UASLP’s mission focuses on graduating professional, scientific, humanistic and academic students who are critical, creative, reflective, and ethical with an international perspective.

Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla

CityU offers its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in Puebla. For more information, visit the program website here.

UPAEP first opened its doors in 1973 and today enrolls more than 9,000 undergraduate and 3,500 graduate students each year. UPAPE faculty add a strong emphasis on educating environmentally conscious students in an effort to cultivate future leaders who can transform society.

CityU continuously looks to partner with other universities in Mexico. To date, CityU has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements with three potential new partners: the Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas, Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
