Dare to Make a Difference

Program logoCity University of Seattle’s Alumni and Development Director shared this great news with the CityU of Seattle community this morning, and we just couldn’t keep quiet about it.  The “Dare to Make a Difference” fundraising campaign is more than half way to its goal of $25,000 thanks in part by a $10,000 donation by CityU president Lee Gorsuch. We admire Lee’s generosity and dedication to this campaign. Thank you Lee! Our total as of this morning $14,649.

Now there are just 24 days remaining in the campaign drive. Will you help us reach our $25,000 goal?

Giving is a very personal form of expression. So why give to CityU’s campaign? Simply put, it’s an opportunity to help students realize dreams most of us have already fulfilled or are now working toward. These students include business major Nathan Lucrisia who didn’t let a sour economy impact his goal of finding a job in a new career field. Instead, he turned to CityU and now is gaining skills to be a leader in the sustainable business industry.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the 2010 Dare to Make a Difference campaign already. Your selfless acts of kindness hold true to our mission to help people change their lives for good. All your thoughtful contributions will directly assist our students in need of tuition assistance and other funding through scholarships and graduation regalia.

With your assistance, we can exceed our campaign goal and bring joy to many more students with a college scholarship.
