CityU Now
Offers a Doctor of Business Administration

Beginning this fall, CityU will offer an online Doctor of Business
Administration (DBA) that focuses on organization interventional
thinking, agile business practices, leadership, and critical thinking,
allowing students to develop specialized business knowledge in an area
of their choice. Students in the program will be supported through
Professor Live Chat and a highly interactive teaching model, which
includes one hour per week of lecture and live chat. The DBA program is
ideal for experienced business leaders who what to build on existing
knowledge to achieve professional goals. Read

CityU Has
a New Bookstore!

Always striving to improve services to our students, CityU now provides
course textbooks and resources through University Book Store, which is
headquartered in the University District of Seattle and has branches
throughout the Puget Sound area. This new partnership offers students,
faculty and staff multiple ways to save on course materials. Read more…

Advancement of Sanford Education Programs in Northwest

CityU now leads the Pacific Northwest advancement of two research-based
PreK-12 education programs – the Sanford Harmony Program and the Sanford
Inspire Program – overseen by National University’s Sanford Education
Center. Joining other universities and higher education institutions
throughout the U.S., CityU is part of the Sanford Education
Collaborative dedicated to furthering these two educational initiatives
in classrooms around the nation. Read more…

Profile: Christa Rubadue, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems

Christa Rubadue has been gearing up for graduation this week and is
planning to use her Bachelor
of Science in Information Systems
to pursue a career in
software/development. Not only did CityU’s flexibility and online
courses allow Christa to finish up her degree while keeping her day job,
but she also discovered a new passion for developing mobile apps.
Congrats to Christa for all her hard work – along with the rest of

July 1 Deadline for
Fall Housing – Apply Today!

Students who want to move into CityU’s residence hall this September for
the start of the fall quarter must submit an application by July 1. Four
floors within the brand new Cornish Commons residence hall are
dedicated to CityU students where they’ll be able to live, work and
study in the heart of Seattle. Students who apply early are given
priority to choose who they want to live with and whether they want to
live in a single, double or triple room. Read
