CityU Expands In Mexico

From Antonio Esqueda.

It’s been a while since I last posted but it’s because there have been some exciting developments for City University of Seattle in Mexico. We recently expanded our Double Degree programs from one location to four sites in Mexico! In addition, our program offerings have increased from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration to also include the Bachelor of Arts in Management, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology!

Indeed, CityU is offering high-quality educational programs to those with a desire to learn. Recently, CityU announced these new partnership agreements with Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, and Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi. Furthermore, CityU and its long-time partner CETYS University renewed their agreement to offer CityU programs to CETYS students and include the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology.

Over the summer, Gabriela Rivera and Mercedes Alejandra Hernandez Pacheco, Double Degree Program Coordinators at CETYS and UPAEP, respectively, traveled to CityU’s Bellevue’s site for training. Click on their names to read their blog entries describing their experiences.

As for me, I have been traveling to Mexico non-stop. Thanks to our comrade of colleagues at CityU as well as our university partners, we were able to start cohorts at all of our Mexico locations. Recently, I traveled to these CityU sites in Mexico for recruitment and new student orientations.

Finally, Dr. Fernando Leon Garcia, Ing. Jorge Sosa, and myself presented at the 24th Annual Hispanic American Colleges and Universities conference in San Diego. CityU’s innovative partnerships were a crowd pleaser. CityU and CETYS have submitted the presentation to other international forums.

More later!
