New Program Accredited in Alberta
After careful review and recognition, the Minister of Enterprise and Advanced Education accepted the recommendation of the Campus Alberta Quality Control Council and has approved CityU to offer a Master of Leadership in Education.
Members of the Red Deer School system will populate the first cohort of this newly approved program, and they, along with several Alberta Education Advisory Board members, joined President Carter as he warmly congratulated the local CityU faculty and staff on the accomplishment during a reception at the Sheraton Red Deer.
City University of Seattle Provost Steven Olswang also weighed in on the accomplishment. “This program has the full support of City University of Seattle, and we expect it to fulfill a need to provide working teachers with the opportunity to earn the advanced credentials essential to becoming school leaders.”
With this accreditation, CityU will continue to ensure high academic achievement among its students and provide those students with a globally recognized education.
