City University of Seattle is proud to launch the “CETYS-CityU Presidential Scholarships” for the 2016 academic year. CityU and its partner in Baja California, Mexico, CETYS Universidad, started to offer the scholarship program in 2013.

The CETYS-CityU Presidential Scholarships are offered to students enrolled in the double degree program between both institutions. To apply for the scholarship, students must demonstrate (a) high academic ability; (b) socioeconomic need; and (c) to be enrolled in the last year of the program.  The scholarship program covers tuition for one CityU course for three students, one student from each of CETYS campuses.  Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee composed of CityU and CETYS staff and faculty members.

This past spring, President Carter traveled to CETYS Campus Tijuana, along with his CETYS counterpart, President Leon Garcia, to recognize this year’s selected scholarship recipients and to celebrate CETYS and CityU’s 10^th Anniversary of Academic Collaboration.
