READ MORECity University of Seattle is proud to announce that its Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) has been accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. ABET is a recognized accreditor in the United States by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. This makes CityU’s BSIS the only Information Systems program accredited in Washington State and one of only 40 ABET accredited information systems programs nationally.
In the most recent alumni survey, over 90 percent of CityU graduates said they gained a professional competency with CityU and 95 percent of students said they believed they would see a return on their educational investment. Considering that graduates from ABET accredited programs have found that employers prefer to hire them over other candidates, CityU is confident that this new accreditation will encourage these upward trends in alumni satisfaction.
