U.S. News & World Report ranks CityU programs among the best in the nation
U.S. News & World Report announced its annual rankings of the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs and City University of Seattle was ranked among the best for the fifth consecutive year. CityU was the only private, nonprofit university based in Washington State to be ranked in the top 50 this year.
The list of Best Online Bachelor’s Programs is developed to help prospective students see which schools may be right for them. According to U.S. News & World Report’s ranking methodology, the vast majority of students in this ranking are professionals with some college credit who are looking to advance in or change their careers. This directly aligns with CityU’s primary focus of serving working adults and transfer students.
“Offering flexible and accessible education is the core of City University of Seattle,” said Randy C. Frisch, president of the university. “CityU’s ranking among the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs in the country is confirmation of our commitment to our students and to their long-term success. While CityU serves thousands of students in our physical classrooms, online learning makes it possible for us to meet our students where they are, whether that’s across the state, across the country or around the world.”
As a pioneer of distance learning, City University of Seattle has a history of developing innovative education practices to meet the needs of its students. The university offers online bachelor’s degrees in subjects including applied psychology, information technology and project management. This top ranking for online bachelor’s programs affirms the university’s commitment to providing the best student experience possible.
In addition to the online bachelor’s programs, CityU was ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online MBA Programs for the third consecutive year. The MBA is one of the most popular degree programs the university offers, and this ranking underscores that success.
