Entrepreneurship Emphasis Added to MBA Program for Fall 2014
Starting in Fall 2014, CityU’s MBA program will begin offering an emphasis in entrepreneurship!
Small business accounts for almost 40% of the U.S. Gross National Product and half of the nation’s innovation, and global studies have shown that entrepreneurs are the key to economic growth. This MBA emphasis is designed to provide students with real-world learning outcomes, coupled with experienced entrepreneur instructors and mentors, in order to seize upon this dynamic opportunity.
This emphasis area will enable students to gain knowledge on various aspects of starting a business, including:
- Vetting the concept
- Business plan development and presentation
- Startup marketing
- Everyday financial issues
- Risk management
- Registration of new business
- Exit strategies.
