Agreement Signed with Lower Columbia College

Agreement Signed with Lower Columbia College

LCC_2City University of Seattle and Lower Columbia College (LCC) agreed to an articulation agreement where students at LCC may complete a Bachelor’s degree at CityU upon completing a maximum of 90 quarter hours in lower division college level credits in the following degree programs:

To be considered for admission to City University of Seattle, LCC students must submit a General Admission Application to CityU, any required program admissions documents, and an official transcript with a posted degree from Lower Columbia College. Students will likely transfer into CityU’s Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice or its Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems. If a student from Lower Columbia College transfers to City University of Seattle before completing one of the associate programs listed above, the student may transfer earned credits to CityU,  providing the course grade earned has a grade of at least a “C” or 2.0.

Aside from these programs, CityU and LCC also partner to offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

CityU’s ongoing partnership with LCC is one of the many partnerships that CityU has with Washington State based community colleges. In its 40 years, CityU has consistently looked for more opportunities to serve transferring students. Partnering with colleges like LCC is a great way to optimize opportunities for these students.
