READ MORECity University of Seattle will recognize 1,251 graduates worldwide, including 570 students attending the university’s 43rd annual commencement ceremony June 16 at 1 p.m. in Key Arena.
CityU will confer an estimated one associate degree, 212 bachelor’s degrees, 352 master’s degrees and five doctoral degrees. The university will recognize 14 students with President’s Honors (for eligible master’s degree candidates with GPAs of 3.90 or higher) and 30 with Latin Honors (for eligible bachelor’s degree candidates who attain the following requisite GPAs: a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher – summa cum laude, a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher – magna cum laude, a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher – cum laude).
Kim Nguyen, who is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and Charles Smith, who is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology, will be student speakers at this year’s ceremony.
