Transfer Opportunities
At City University of Seattle, we believe in giving full credit where credit is due. That is why we will accept up to 90 college level credits that will seamlessly transfer from technical and community colleges to CityU of Seattle – with or without a prior degree. We also accept credits granted through non-traditional means:
- Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
- College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP)
- ACE credits for military training

In keeping with our mission to make higher education more accessible and affordable, City University of Seattle has established a scholarship program for community and technical college transfer students. CityU's Transfer Scholarship program begins in 2009 and will provide up to $10,800 to each student selected as a scholarship recipient. Programs of Study
Students can graduate in just 6 quarters in any one of the following programs:
- B.A. in Applied Psychology
- B.S. in Accounting
- B.S. in Business Administration
- B.S. in Communications
- B.S. in Information Systems
- B.S. in Marketing
- B.A. in Management
Scholarship Qualifications
- Available to Washington state residents who graduate with an associate's degree from a Washington State Community or Technical College in the 2008-09 academic year.
- Requires full-time attendance
- Scholarship is for tuition only ($1800 per quarter)
