About the Counseling Center
City University of Seattle Counseling Center provides counseling services in a safe, confidential environment for students and members of the community who cannot otherwise afford counseling. We receive client referrals from a wide variety of community mental health agencies including The Crisis Clinic of Seattle/King County.

Operating in conjunction with the City University of Seattle Counseling Psychology Program, master's degree student interns provide services under the close supervision of a licensed mental health counselor. The interns are registered counselors in the state of Washington. Currently, Karen Langer, the President of the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association, serves as the counseling center's director.
