program is designed for aspiring school principals and program administrators. If you are currently an
education leader with a master's degree or higher seeking Washington State certification as a principal
or program administrator, this program is for you.

Through classroom and field-supervised experience, you will gain vital knowledge in the areas of school
leadership and administration, educational reform, and instructional supervision. You will participate in a
practicum that focuses on the daily challenges administrators face, developing important leadership skills.

Classes are typically held one weekend per month (face to face) plus online learning.
OSPI reports that for the 06-07 year CityU had the more students qualify for Principle certification than any other WA university.
