Is this program for me?
This program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the human services field and for
anyone with a general interest in psychology. The program also provides preparation for further graduate
study and career opportunities in counseling, education, human services, and business.

What will I learn?
The B.A. in Applied Psychology offers you a strong, practical foundation in psychological concepts and their
applications.
Upon completion of the program, you will have the ability to: apply theory to practical
settings, such as family and organizations; identify processes and methods that can improve the attitudes
and behavior of people in various settings, such as family and organizations; and interpret the demographic
factors that influence trends in families, formal and informal organizations, etc.
