Child and Adolescent Services

The Undergraduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Services prepares students to meet the needs of children and adolescents in a variety of youth and family service settings and family welfare agencies. It provides knowledge, skills, and practical experience in working with children and adolescents.

Students take courses that cover relevant theories, knowledge, and skills, and engage in a practicum that requires them to apply their learning in a real-life setting. The certificate consists of 25 credits, including four courses that are part of the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology program and a practicum in a youth services setting. All the courses and the practicum can be applied to the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology (BAAP) as electives.
