Is this program for me?
The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (M.A.C.P.) program is designed for students who wish to become professional mental health counselors - especially those seeking mental health counselor licensure (LMHC) in the state of Washington.

What will I learn?
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be better prepared to: conduct clinical assessments and diagnosis; apply theory to clinical cases; write formal treatment plans; and meet with other professionals in case consultations.

What can I do with my degree?
You will be qualified to seek employment in community mental health as a professional mental health counselor or marriage and family therapist (with the CFT specialization). You will have the opportunity to work in various mental health settings, including non-profit counseling agencies, private counseling practices, managed care organizations, and hospitals.
