Is the Elementary Education endorsement program for me?
If you're a certified teacher who wants to teach Elementary Education (K-8), this
teaching endorsement
program is a great fit. It's offered at multiple locations around
Seattle and throughout
western
Washington. You'll join B.A. Ed. and M.I.T. students who are earning their education endorsement, too.
What will I learn in the Elementary endorsement program?
You'll learn everything you need to
teach core curriculum to elementary and middle school students (K-8) from
all sorts of backgrounds. Our program is in line with all standards set by Washington's Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
What can I do with my endorsement in Elementary Education?
For teachers, endorsements mean more options and opportunities for advancement.
Note: You will need to pass the Washington Educator Skills Test (WEST-E) exam to earn the endorsement. Check out
the
WEST-E exam website for more info.
