It can be completed as an emphasis in our other education programs. Courses cover the following topics:
- federal and state legislation
- assessment and evaluation
- Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- supporting the family structure
- collaboration and community support
Effective In-Class and Online Learning
Classes are offered in a mixed-mode
setting for students who prefer a mix of in-class and online learning. Each course utilizes faculty members who are experienced, active practitioners in the early childhood special education field, which means you get hands-on experience with relevant, timely issues when it matters.
