The one year program starts in the spring and is an intense full-time (M-F) daytime program that lasts 4 quarters. The two year classes are held every Saturday and there are also weekday internships required every other quarter. Both programs conclude with 14 weeks of student teaching.

A passing grade for the Washington State WEST-E exam is required of all teacher candidates before Master Degree and certification are awarded.
