Is the master's in Adult Learning program for me?

Our M.Ed. in Adult Learning program is designed for professional educators and trainers who wish to advance their careers serving adult learners in higher education settings (community, technical, and vocational colleges) or organizational settings (corporate training divisions, human resources, not-for-profit and governmental organizations and agencies). If you currently work as a professional educator or trainer in the field of education or business and are seeking greater opportunities, this program could be perfect for you.

What will I learn in the master's in Adult Learning program?

Our program will help you develop a solid foundation in adult learning theory and applications, including a substantial emphasis on the use of technology to support learnings and teachings. Everything you learn in the program-e.g., instructional design, curriculum design, E-learning, distance learning, as well as program planning and evaluation-can be applied immediately in your work setting. The program includes a practicum that focuses on the daily challenges faced by administrators; you'll gain the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to become a more effective professional and advance your career.
