Henan Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College (HMEEC)

Launched in September of 2010, this unique program offered by City University of Seattle and HMEEC is designed to provide Chinese students with the option to study abroad in the U.S. for one year and to receive a dual U.S. and Chinese degree. Approved by the Ministry of Education's Henan Provincial Education Commission for Chinese quota students, students who enroll in this program will complete three years of study at HMEEC, receiving their associate degree from HMEEC and a CityU Certificate of Completion. Students then have the option to study at CityU’s campus in Washington state for their final year of study, and receive their U.S. bachelor’s degree.

Founded in 1975, Henan Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College (HMEEC) is an engineering-focused provincial college located in Xinxiang City, in Henan province. HMEEC is a key college among the vocational colleges model in China, an "Excellent College" in the talents training evaluation, and an "Advanced Unit in Students' Employment."
