City University of Seattle began offering undergraduate and graduate programs in business administration in Bulgaria in 1999 and, through a partnership with the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", maintains locations in Pravetz and Sofia.

Sofia University is Bulgaria's first higher education institution with a rich cultural history and tradition. For nearly a century, the school has been a national leader in university education for its research and fundamental theory. Sofia University also is the country's largest university, offering students more than 80 programs.

Both CityU of Seattle and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" award graduates diplomas that are recognized worldwide upon their completion of a degree.
