Canadian Services
Services provided by the CityU Library for ALL students in Canada:
- Reference and research help via e-mail, chat/instant message, toll-free number, and fax;
- Online tutorials that demonstrate how to use the library's resources and services;
- Full-text, abstracted, and indexed articles in a variety of online databases;
- Online posting of articles not available in full-text through the online databases;
- Electronic books on different general and education related subjects;
- Postal mail or UPS delivery of books owned by the CityU library.*

Additional services provided by the CityU Library for students in British Columbia:
- Postal mail or UPS delivery of books that have been borrowed from other libraries.*
* Delays caused by the border crossing and customs may result in slow delivery of items so students should take this into account when placing requests.
Additional services provided by the Albright School of Education and the Division of Arts and Sciences for students in British Columbia:
- CityU will reimburse the purchase of a community card from an institution listed below. Community cards allow cardholders
to check out books at the library from which their card was obtained. Students should request a receipt for the purchase of the
community card and submit it to their advisor for reimbursement. Reimbursement takes the form of a credit posted to the student's account.
Students may also want to use the collections and interlibrary loan services that are available at their local public libraries.
