CityU celebrates first graduate through partnership with Joint Base Lewis–McChord

There are currently more than 50 service members from JBLM studying through CityU, which began offering classes onsite in fall 2016. U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Melvin Correa Lopez is the university’s first graduate through the partnership.

Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at City University of Seattle to host first workshop

The Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at City University of Seattle will be hosting its first event on Wednesday, May 31. The workshop will explore social styles and teach attendees how to be adaptive and versatile when working when donors. Registration is $15 per person and includes lunch.

City University of Seattle has had the opportunity to bring the Sanford Education Programs to Washington schools and the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy to local nonprofits through its affiliation with the National University System.

CityU and Puyallup School District partner to educate new principals

City University of Seattle and the Puyallup School District are joining together in a unique way to help train the next generation of school principals. Through this partnership, teachers in the south Puget Sound region will be able to earn their Washington State Principal Residency Certificate.
