Elementary students empowered to make new friends, embrace diversity through Sanford Harmony

Part of the flurry of activity for students going back to school is meeting new classmates and making friends. While this can be fun for students, it can also be challenging. One of the tools that more than 60 schools in Washington are using to help children learn to communicate, cooperate, connect, embrace diversity and resolve conflict is Sanford Harmony.

The Summer in Seattle program lasts for three and a half weeks and gives students the opportunity to take three face-to-face courses for their degree programs, as well as tour premier companies in the Pacific Northwest.

City University of Seattle proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its graduates during commencement on June 17 at Seattle’s Key Arena. A total of 489 students from multiple countries participated in the ceremony.
