Financial Assistance
City University of Seattle administers various types of U.S. federal and private financial assistance to assist students in
achieving their educational and professional goals. In addition, the university itself awards scholarships on
the basis of financial need, demonstrated academic ability, and other criteria. To the full extent of its resources,
the university is committed to sharing educational costs with its students.
The university's financial assistance programs are administered impartially through its Student Financial
Services Office, which advises students on eligibility and application procedures.
Funds are awarded in an equitable manner, based on availability, in order to fill the gap between what
students can contribute to their educational expenses and what has been determined as their allowable educational expenses.
Applicants for financial aid should obtain the City University of Seattle publication titled "Student Financial Aid Package"
from the Financial Aid Office. Students must apply annually for financial assistance.
FastWeb's free scholarship search includes more than 500,000 scholarships worth more than $1 billion.
