Withdrawals

It is vital that students notify their Financial Aid Counselor and Academic Advisor when they drop a class.
  • Withdrawal calculations will be done according to the Federal Refund and Repayment Policy.
  • When the student pays tuition and book costs at the beginning of the enrollment period, the Financial Aid Funds will be reimbursed according to type of payment.
Failure to comply with guidelines will result in the student assuming responsibility for tuition and book cost.

If you are registered and need to leave City University of Seattle, you should formally withdraw. Students who do not formally withdraw may receive an Unofficial Withdraw (UW). You must notify your Academic Advisor and the Financial Aid Office of your intent to withdraw, so we can cancel or adjust your aid. Refunds will be used to reimburse the Financial Aid Funds. Students who receive a check from any financial aid program and withdraw from school officially, or unofficially, may be required to repay an amount to the Financial Aid Programs.
