Sabine Saway Director, International Admissions
Sabine Saway serves as the director of the International Student Office and has helped international
students at City University of Seattle since 1998. She is responsible for the operations of the
department, outreach activities and advising students on academic and immigration issues.
Originally from Austria, Sabine enjoys learning about different cultures, reading, gardening,
hiking and skiing.

Dmitry Sherbakov is the associate director of international student recruitment. He spearheads the university's international
marketing, outreach, and recruiting activities. Since you are visiting this page, chances are you have already met Dmitry at
one of the fairs or CityU presentations, or communicated with him via email. When not traveling, Dmitry tries to spend all free time with his family and friends.

Michael Campbell International Student Advisor
As an international student advisor, Michael Campbell's primary responsibilities include guiding
students through the admissions process, assisting with immigration-related issues, and providing
academic program information. Meeting students from around the globe is what he enjoys most about
his role. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Michael is an avid sports fan. When he's not rooting for
the Seattle Mariners baseball team or following the National Football League, he likes watching
movies and listening to music.

Sima Janka International Student Advisor
Sima Janka provides first-line customer support to applicants and returning students seeking
information about registration, programs and school processes. Sima's unique career has enabled her
to combine her two biggest passions: learning about different cultures and helping students achieve
their educational goals. In her spare time, Sima enjoys reading, gardening and traveling.

Inese Woodward International Admissions Coordinator/Advisor
Originally from Latvia, Inese Woodward is a graduate of CityU's MBA program and has been a part of
the International Student Office team since 2005. She advises students on immigration-related
matters (work authorizations, visa, travel, etc.). Should you decide to participate in any of our
international student activities, Inese will be your main contact. She welcomes suggestions for
making your stay at CityU more enjoyable and fun.
