About the Master Promissory Note (MPN)

An MPN is a contract that includes the terms and conditions under which the loan is made and the terms and conditions under which the borrower promises to repay the student loan(s). You only need to complete a single MPN if you are requesting both a Subsidized Stafford Loan and an Unsubsidized Stafford Loan.
