CityU Uses FSC Certified Paper

Every little bit helps.

Forests are the lungs of our planet. They provide us with fresh air, clean water, food, medicine and more. But still, by some estimates, nearly half of the world's original forest cover has been lost to harvesting - much of that in the last 30 years alone.

CityU is working to reduce our environmental footprint and save more trees. Our first step was to commit to buy more responsibly harvested and processed paper for our printing projects. We're teaming with vendors that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), an independent, non-governmental, nonprofit organization that promotes the responsible management of the world's forests.

In choosing to use FSC-certified papers, CityU joins ranks with a strong network of partners and supporters, such as REI, Nordstrom and even President Barack Obama, whose one million inaugural invitations proudly bore the coveted FSC trademark.
